Care for Opals:
1. Clean gently with soft cloth, do not use any chemicals. Do not clean opals with ultrasonic cleaner.
2. Avoid contact with high temperature.
3. If you need to store the opals away for a period of time, you could store your opal with a cotton wool with a few drops of water and seal it. The water is intended to avoid very low humidity environments.
4. The hardness of Opals is around 6.5 on Moh’s hardness scale, hence remove your opal jewellery if there is a chance it will be scratched or broken.
